Landwehr Bräu Brewery

As one of the most modern private breweries in Middle Franconia we offer interested groups or individuals the opportunity of looking behind the scenes. We run a trade with a centuries-old tradition under contemporary conditions. We also run a malthouse to produce our most important raw material from local brewers barley. Our Rothenburg Landwehr beers are brewed adhering strictly to the ‘Rheinheitsgebot’, or German Purity Law of 1516. Technology aids us in controlling precisely all the stages involved. As in all trades, the brewers and malters have developed their own nomenclature for work processes and tools. We want to show you this and the corresponding technology.
This is possible every Thursday and Saturdays with expert guidance and hosting, naturally rounded off with a really good beer tasting in the Bräustüble snuggery.
The tour takes place with a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 35 people. We ask you to book in advance by telephone (latest one day before).
A contribution towards expenses of 8,- Euro per person, including the beer tasting, is requested.

Our well-stocked brewery shop will definitely be interesting for many collectors.
